While this thing isn't really related to Office, I mention that in case it's relevant somehow. So if I load the form, select 22 my output is empty, then select 55 my output is 22, then select 01, my output is 55, and so on.

Combo boxes can easily be used as cell editors without the need to write code to fill the combo box thanks to auto- detection of ComboBox columns (enums, foreign keys). Updates source when the cell or row exits edit mode or immediately when the cell content changes. When changing values in the combobox the output is always 1 behind my selection. I was kinda hoping that running it in XP compatibility mode would help, but it doesn't.
